What is your process for translation?
Beginning at project kick-off, we instill several steps to monitor the quality and accuracy of the translation at every stage.
- Use of quality glossaries and checklists that are approved by the client, whenever available and possible
- Apply Translation Memories (TMs) wherever applicable to increase efficiency and consistency
- Use native speakers with industry specific knowledge as translators
- Use industry standard tools when possible to reduce time and costs for our clients
- Test and review translated material throughout the project
- Use the same Project Manager through a project’s life cycle ensuring the PM has a strong understanding of the project
How does ABLE verify the qualifications and certifications of its translators and interpreters?
We utilize only thoroughly tested professional translators and editors with specific subject matter expertise who are located in-country. All potential translators are thoroughly screened with a translation test reviewed by a senior linguist, qualifications are evaluated, and all references are verified. We never use the same translators as editors or proofreaders.
What are ABLE’s quality standards?
Our processes comply with the EN 15038: 2006 standard. By identifying the right people, process and measurement for every project, we can prevent and continually monitor the key aspects of each project. We analyze each project before it begins to identify any potential barriers down the road. Linguistic quality is measured regularly by using metrics and checklists that are based on the LISA (Localization Industry Standards Association) linguistic QA model.

ABLE supports most file formats from applications such as: C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java, Oracle, MS SQL, DBZ, Access, Robohelp. We support file formats such as: EXE, DLL, OCX and resource files such as: RC, TXT, TTK, RTF, DOC, HTML and XML and many more.
