PRESS RELEASE - For Immediate Release
ABLE Innovations and CCI to co-present and exhibit at WBEA Connections Expo in Houston

April 30th, 2008 — Boston, MA. ABLE Innovations, LLC. (www.ableinnovations.com), a leading provider of translation solutions, announced today it will co-present and exhibit with Culture Coach International (CCI) at the upcoming Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) Connections Expo in Houston, Texas.

The WBEA is an affiliate of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and serves as a third-party certifying organization for Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE’s). Headquartered in Houston, the WBEA serves over 94 counties in Texas with scholarships, mentoring programs, networking activities, and educational opportunities. The WBEA’s Annual Connections Expo will be held May 21st - 22nd at the Reliant Center in Houston and connects WBE’s with corporate purchasers, governmental agencies and other women-owned businesses for the primary purpose of creating opportunities to work together.

Kaarina Kvaavik, Co-Owner and Chief Business Officer of ABLE Innovations, will join Kari Heistad, Culture Coach International’s founder and CEO, in presenting a breakfast seminar entitled: “Bridging the Multicultural Divide in Business – The Essential Role of Communication in The Global Market Place”.

“We are thrilled to present and exhibit at this year’s Expo!” comments Kvaavik. “Texas—and very specifically Houston—is one of the states in the US where this seminar topic is especially relevant. Considering the tremendous purchasing power of women and non-English speaking consumers, it is essential for corporations and WBE’s to capture these markets.

Kari Heistad concurs the topic and demographics are a perfect fit. “With a high percentage of residents speaking a language other than English, government agencies, companies and other organizations need to look at communication styles, be culturally aware and know how to recruit and retain a diverse workforce.”

Sponsored by the WBEA, the seminar will take place prior to the Expo on Wednesday, May 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at The Marriott Courtyard – Downtown Houston, located at 916 Dallas Street in Houston. Cost is $30.00. To register for this event or for complete details on the Expo, visit the WBEA website at: www.wbea-texas.org.
