ABLE Innovations Earns Certification as Women's Business Enterprise

October 26, 2006 - Boston, MA. ABLE Innovations, LLC. (www.ableinnovations.com), a content and product globalization firm specializing in process consulting, technology integration and language services, announced it has been certified as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), based in Washington, D.C., in partnership with the Center for Women and Enterprise (CWE) of Boston.

WBENC certification is acknowledged and accepted by over 700 major U.S. corporations, as well as various federal and government agencies, and earns ABLE Innovations a credential that is nationally recognized among key decision makers in corporate supplier diversity and procurement.

"The WBENC certification helps open the door to business opportunities for women-owned organizations like ABLE Innovations, allowing us to lend more of our industry expertise to the marketplace," said Kaarina Kvaavik, Co-Owner and Chief Business Officer of ABLE. "The credential is vital as we seek to both model and foster business practices that help create multi-cultural business environments that mirror the diverse communities in which we live and work."

Since its founding in 1997, the WBENC is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations. WBENC works to foster diversity in the world of commerce with programs and policies designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners. Their partner organization, CWE, has served over 12,000 entrepreneurs within the Boston area and provides education, training, technical assistance and access-to-capital to ensure that all women, regardless of their economic status, will have the opportunity to start and run their own businesses.
