Why would I use ALTA Platform over existing methods?
Existing methods require multiple caregivers to exert back-breaking effort. Current methods are unsafe, and it is difficult to enforce a “standard of care”. Current transfer methods also require multiple staff to be present, which is increasingly difficult as facilities are increasingly short-staffed.
The ALTA allows a single operator to transfer patients independently, in a safe, effortless and automated fashion. This eliminates the burden associated with recruiting additional staff. Moreover, the ALTA is easy to use and its intelligent systems add additional layers of safety. This reduces injuries, prolongs careers and also offers greater clinical efficiencies.
